Karly Peterson began her career as a member of various global wealth and investment management teams for large banks. During her bank tenure, Karly was responsible for the financial well-being of her clients and handled a wide range of matters, including: trusts, IRAs, real property, and investment management accounts. She brings to her practice a background in financial planning, products and services, practical experience with high-net-worth clientele, and advanced knowledge of trust administration.

Karly enjoys helping clients build and preserve wealth. Prior to her career in banking, she provided transactional business law representation to entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, and community groups in Austin, Texas. Her work included providing legal advice and counseling relevant to early stage commercialization and financing to Austin area startups.

Karly also has a strong passion for social justice. She grew up in Lake County, California, a small community north of the Bay Area. Her background has fueled her passion for various social justice initiatives. Karly's past projects include drafting pro se resources for low income persons and advancing public policies that promoted and expanded the rights of people with disabilities. Currently, Karly is a volunteer attorney at Volunteer Legal Services for the the Alameda County Bar.
